The IIS Group training activities
The first IIS course was the “Specialisation Course in Welding for Engineers and Industrial Technicians” (first edition in 1952), whose structure remained virtually unchanged, although its curriculum was updated over the years, until the establishment of welding coordination Professionals, internationally harmonised (International Welding Engineer, Technologist and Specialist).
Since then, the training services have been growing and diversifying, and now deal exhaustively with all topics that either directly or indirectly have to do with the sector of welding.
A constant and characteristic feature of the activities carried out by IIS in this context is the close ties with the world of industry, as our mission includes the transfer and dissemination of the experience and good practices stemming from hands-on applications.
IIS teachers and trainers have in fact extensive experience gained “in the field”, which they convey during courses.
An equally significant focus is placed on the carefully selected, abundant and high quality supporting materials, printed matter and specimens used during the courses.
